I have a question. Barkley likes to lay on us near our head, neck or chest when we're laying in bed. And, he licks our ears, our necks, face. Is that a form of cleaning or affection? Or both? He also likes to lay half of his body on our head. Is that some domination thing? I thought it was the need to be touching us all the time. He follows me around all day and has to be wherever there is a person, touching them. Any insights on animal behavior?
