My goodness!! It only takes a 5% solution to kill the germs! I worked in Microbiology in the hospital lab and this is the dilution we were required to use to disinfect our work areas, etc. BTW, this solution must be made fresh daily as it begins to break down after 24 hours. To make a 5% solution: add 5mls of bleach to 95mls of water. As you can see, it doesn't take much bleach to do the job!
