Hi All, Being your friendly list owner...<G>..I wanted to repost what this list is and was intended for. I tend to be a bit looser than some other list owners as I don't want to squelch discussions...however, I feel that I need to repost some of the guidelines as conversations seem to keep moving away from the dogs. This list really is not for making vacation plans, gardeners or creative recipes (although I have enjoyed some of them..grin>. I have had a few people ask me to bring the conversations back to only the dogs....which I have to say that I agree.
One of my concerns is that there is only a core of people that always post. It would be wonderful to hear from some of our other list members. This list is open to all people, not just breeders, but in rereading the guidelines, it should remind you that the emphasis should be on breeding, competition and issues pertinent to this breed. Someone this evening sent to me a description of what he thought that the list is and his description is what both Cindy and I had always hoped that this list would provide for Cavalier fanciers: <quote> I think the CKCS-L list fills a very useful space, with contributions ranging from experienced breeders to novices. I won't do that as I know that so many are not comfortable treading those waters (shark infested ??grin...kidding!!) ....I am going to ask though that some of you that have never posted to speak up, give it a try.....stretch yourselves a little. I want this list to be enjoyable and interesting without a lot of rules, but I do have to ask that we keep it within the guidelines that the list was created for.
