Yes, my intro was brief, i must have been multi-tasking. Kim, thanks for
all the details.

actually i'm a technical recruiter though :) (but i do hire and place
computer analysts :) and i'm lookign for a job if anyone has any suggestions
:))....ok that was a bit off topic...

i'm redoing Baker's website, and i'll give the address out when its done.

Anyways, the handling classes (with Dale Martin) have been quite helpful and
Baker is such a great looking dog with a winning attitude, so if his mom can
figure out what to do in the ring, he will play along nicely :))

Look forward to hearing all the "show talk"...
m

Subject: [CKCS-L] Welcome Mary and Baker

Hi Mary and Baker-
Welcome to the list. Yes, I'm a list member, and am glad to see your
interest in
a show and breeding list-guess this means that Baker isn't getting neutered
before
May 1st? (the Doggie Day Care "cut off" date, so to speak). I would love to
see him
get to play show dog a few times before THAT decision is made!
Mary's' introduction of herself was somewhat brief...she is a computer
analyst up
in the Silicon Valley, and was owned by the family Golden Retriever before
she got
Baker. She is a sucker for any kind of living being and fosters orphaned
kittens
for the local human society-takes them in and mothers them along until they
are old
enough to be adopted out. Baker helps. One of the cutest Cavalier pictures
I've ever
seen is of Baker with a little 4-5 week old black kitten nested in between
his
front legs, bliss showing on both their faces. It's on Mary's web site, but
she'll
have to speak up with the address, as it's saved on my other computer. Baker
is
Mary's first show dog, and Mary is a bit quiet and self-effacing- I'm sure
it's
taking alot of courage to go into handling class with Baker. I for one can't
wait to
see them in the Cavalier ring!
