For some reason when this food first came out, I got an advertising pamphlet in the mail. It sounded so wonderful--till I read the ingredients. There is no *medicine* or any such thing in it. Just antioxidants and natural things that are already found in real fresh veggies and fruits. For those of us who already feed fresh veggies and fruits, I'm not sure this food would *add* anything! I think I would prefer to feed a whole foods diet or a quality kibble along with fresh veggies and fruits, and if more antioxidants were needed--a supplement.
Sounded to me like they are capitalizing on the fresh veggie/fruit-antioxidants-for-dogs trend. Of course I'm sure it helped many dogs--antioxidants do tend to do that. I think I would prefer my dogs get most of them from real fresh food instead of a *pill* though.
