A big congratulations to Jeanie Montford on her 86th Champion, AKC Ch. Elvenhome
Keep Hopeing. Hope finished her championship at the California Lake Matthew's Show
with a 5 point major, best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex under Judge Wayne
Burton of NSW, Australia. Hope has been seen in the show ring on three
continents-Australia, Hawaii (okay, not really a continent, but it would be if it
were bigger...) and North America. She is always owner handled.
Miss Hope is the daughter of Diane Tyssen's NZ AU Ch. Prestonville Blackmoor and
Jeanie's AU Ch.Elvenhome Keepsake. She is the litter sister to Stephanie and David
Abraham's multiple group placer Ch. Elvenhome Keep Going. Hope lived with Jeanie
until she was two years old, then she became a Hawaii farm girl; chasing lizards,
swimming in Honaunau bay, and keeping me company while picking and processing
coffee. She moved to Venice, California a year ago and now chases pigeons and
ducks, swims in the Venice Canals and keeps me company while I analyze research
data.
Hope's 11 month old son, Allegria Nothing To Fear, "Winston" won his puppy class
the same day, with owner Wayne Fletcher steering for his first time.
I cannot express my thanks enough to Jeanie for entrusting me with an adult,
proven, top quality dog with no strings attached (though I did hear a , "I though
you said that you were going to finish that dog!?" recently). Jeanie's
hospitality, open advise and support is a rare and much appreciated gift, even if
she can't spell!
