As for Cavaliers...they could give two hoots! if it smells worth rolling in... they roll in it! If it smells worth tasting (or eating) they taste it or eat it! it's a 'dog' thing! Some breeds do not like to do this very basic doggy "smear the body and mind thing" that is 'basic canine' but Cavaliers do and it makes me laugh every time I have anyone complain how 'awful' it is!
