Hi list

To ONLY find out if you've got it ...

Bring up Windows Explorer, click View, click the Folder Options. Click View
tab, and Show All Files. Clear box for option to hide file extensions (i.e.
'untick'). Click Apply and Okay.

Click on C: then examine the right hand column to see if any files have an
RAR extension (i.e. cavaliered.rar). If you have that extension, your
computer is probably infected. DON'T DO ANYTHING except close Explorer.

It's a particularly unpleasant virus that does all sorts of nasty things on
the 6th of each month, and on the 6th of alternate months will wipe your
hard drive, so rumour hath it.

Bet you're glad I told you that.

Best

Sheena
