Hi Gayle,
Jean Kingston's suggestion of Bee Pollen is a new one to me but sounds well
worth trying. Aside from that, my question to you is, *Have you tried
humidifiers?* Heat dries out the air - so causes dry skin (even if you
don't see flaking); many animals (and humans) suffer from "winter itch" due
to dryness caused by heating the house. Even though you said yours barely
runs, your girl may be sensitive enough that even minimal heating sends her
over her "threshold." It sounds simple, but it's sometimes a solution.
Since you didn't mention using humidifiers (you might need one per room),
thought I'd ask...
Alida

<<< No one can figure out what she is allergic to except that when our heat
=
goes on in the house she scratches until she bleeds. When the heat goes =
off (our just barely runs), she immediately stops scratching and is =
perfect. The vet thought it might be something outside, but we know =
it's not. It's the heat factor in the house, and we live in =
Minneapolis, so the heat is on about 7-8 months a year. >>>
