> Thanks Laura. Is there one or two in particular you recommend? I have
been reading about these the past two days and am getting seriously
confused. <G>

They all have something to offer. Some use only *organic* meats. Some have
veggies, some don't. Some use only one type of meat. Some have 2, 3 or
more meat varieties. Some have a long proven track record. Some have a
freeze dried version for travel or whatever. Some are much more expensive
and some cheaper. I am fortunate that mOrigins and Three Cheers are made
right in my state and so tend to be the cheapest, plus I can pick them up at
many of the dog shows. There is also a dealer who carries AFS and Steve's
that is fairly near me too and is often at the dog shows.

I especially found very interesting the article on the Steve's Real Food
site regarding a study which showed what the stomach and feces contents of
hundreds of wolves, coyotes, foxes, etc. were. Found out they ate virtually
no grains and less veggies than I had previously thought.

There was an excellent article in the May Whole Dog Journal about frozen
diets. They ordered all the ones listed and all but one came pretty much
still frozen. They felt all the companies made a pretty good product and
had good service.
