Deborah, there are people like this who are skilled at presenting
themselves. I just saw this man with his mother at the Lake Matthews,KC
shows in CA a few weeks ago and he is well dressed and more acceptable in
his appearance and demeanor than 30-40% of the others attending this show. I
have always had my own opinions due to my friend's comments as well as
little things I have noted over the years, but his mother is very upscale in
her appearance and demeanor and is at many of the CA shows. We have so many
of this kind of 'breeder' in my breed when it was #1 in registrations that
it is one of the reasons why I don't sell dogs. It just frightens me to
think I could make a mistake and one of mine would end up there. Please
don't think ill of any reputable breeder who might have been taken in, they
are very good at what they do.
A very saddened Michael, Baliwick Am. Cockers
