Gayle:

My apologies for the delayed response, things are a bit busy here.

Here is the contact information for the Minnesota Department of
Agriculture. He is the guy that is in charge of hive inspections and such.
He should know plenty of 'apiarists' (Beekeepers) in your state. Contact
him for a list or one or two.

The local, unfiltered, uncooked honey is for alergies (and great tasting
nutrition too). The pollen is somewhat independent of that. If you cannot
locate a source of pollen locally, you might try the Springtime website.
They have pollen for horses, dogs and humans. http://www.springtimeinc.com

As far as the pollen being from a different location, and concerns about
a reaction to it, just begin with a small dosage. There should be no
negative reaction. Pollen is a highly nutritious food, the mineral, vitamin
and amino acid list would be longer than this E-Mail. You might find your
girl is a bit friskey afterwards. Pollen should provide plenty of nutrition
to 'prevent' most allergies, as well as give enough good health to deal with
the heat problem.

If you were to try a spoonful with some honey, you would notice the
difference in about 15 - 20 minutes.

I hope this helps. If not you can E-Mail me directly.

Cheers,

Edward Harris
