Winnie, The specialty is held the weekend before Crufts. If you go to the UK cavaliers web site you can find the schedule. Web site is http://www.cavalierclub.co.uk My opinion is that the club show is more fun than Crufts. Crufts is huge and many breeds. Club show is just Cavaliers and much more intimate.
