Hi Carol, I believe Cavalier Rescue back East is in the process of checking this out. I believe Phyllis Lasser posted about rescue investigating this post to determine whether or not there is any truth to it. If the story checks out then they will see if the owner will give the dog over to rescue, or if necessary allow rescue to purchase the dog. This is my recollection of what was posted, hopefully, my account was accurate :)
