Hi Joanne, This may sound strange, but it works for our Miss Fussy. We close the gate from the hallway to the kitchen, place her and her dinner on the other side of the gate, and she sits there until everyone else has finished their dinner in the kitchen. Then, and only then, she leisurely eats her dinner with the other dogs lined up by the gate watching every morsel slowly being consumed. She's such a princess... Ann
