Hi List I've been keeping half an eye (yes, but it's the good one) on the topic of heartworm medications, because so far it doesn't seem to be a UK area. I've kept a closer eye (nearly both of them) on the Stronghold/Revolution threads, because it has seemed to me that this particular preparation does affect fertility (at least in bitches, can't say about dogs) and the ability to maintain a pregnancy. And somewhere I can't now find, I'm sure someone posted about the deleterious effect certain heartworm medications can have on fertility.
So ... am I jumping to conclusions in thinking that it's the heartworm aspect of Stronghold/Revolution that affects the fertility? I have absolutely no concrete research basis for this, I'm just asking what anyone else thinks and whether someone might be able to direct me to some research?
