There are some excellent herbal spray-on repellents that are non-toxic. Also Neem shampoos/sprays kill fleas but are non-toxic. I prefer using crushed garlic cloves rather than capsules for internal use. I will be trying a recommended flea/tick repellent collar purchased from www.medipatch.com. Hope it works so I don't have to be bathing and spraying as often as I currently do. I personally don't use any systemic poisons as I worry about what they are doing to the immune system, much less the liver.
