I totally agree with you on the leather. It's so much easier to care for than
the fabrics. The scratching can cause havoc but with a little praxes you can
teach the dogs thetas not a good thing.  We are in the process of little by
little replacing everything to leather in the family room.  The biggest
dilemma is the book cases.  Anything at Cavalier height is destined to be
ripped to shreds.  My Steven King collection has be decimated. I guess I will
have to find book cases with glass doors.
