Hi Jeanie and List...I have always let my Bouviers and Cavaliers go outright...I hate co-ownerships. The first Bouvier bitch puppy from a well-known breeder in this area in the early 80's was a co-ownership with 7...yes...7 puppies back..how ever many litters it took... plus I paid a fair price to boot......I had bought a male from there previously and they were "mentoring" me...they saw a fool/newbie and took me to the cleaners...I learned a valuable lesson... but at the age of 17 months this girl who was a working/performance/conformation girl had HD so bad she was spayed and retired. Luckily she was never bred as I had some ethics already in me prior to them mentoring me....I don't normally do co-ownerships (4 in 18 years) but if I do it is for a very limited time and with someone I know and trust. Nancy (who is in the Pacific Northwest)
