I know of several bitches, heavy in whelp who appreciated having their food served on a small stool, shoulder high. Hard to eat when you put your head down and half the litter is comming up your throat. Water the same way. This is based on the kiss principle.
Listening to hearts. I have a stethescope used for pediatrics. I am doing a reasearch paper for post secondary college English, and chose MVD. In my research, I found a very interesting site. just enter the "Auscultation Assistant" in any search engine. you need a computer with a sound card. The sounds are applicable to dogs, a MVD is an MVD regardless of the animal. Just imagine the sounds will be faster in dogs. I listen to the hearts of all my dogs about once a month, I am getting better asn I now agree with my vet more often.
