Hello Kris - and all sixhundredandtwentyone others!

Thank you for making it easier for me to introduce myself - My name is Sara
Savolainen and I live in Finland. I breed wholecoloured cavaliers with my
mother Anita under the affix 'Sideways'. At this point I should say 'feel
free to find out more about us from our webpage' but unfortunately they are
*surprisesurprise* under construction. ;) (The url for the old ones that are
definitely not up to date is
http://www.sidewaysdogs.com/oldies/index2e.htm )

We are happily 'owned by' four b&t girls - one of which lives with me here
in Helsinki (Pilliwink's Pamela Panpiper - Pammy - age 10 mths)and three who
rule my parents' household in Turku (three generations, Honey, 10 yrs, her
daughter Sandy 7 yrs, and her daughter Wendy 4 yrs). Our breeding is based
on Sorata and Harana lines with a little bit of particolour blood from the
Chantiz lines as well. We breed only about one litter a year.

Cavaliers have been a part of our lives since 1992 and we have enjoyed every
moment we have had the chance to spend with this thorougly sweet but
courageous little breed. They are such true companions and all-round
hobby-dogs with their ever-wagging tails, (not to mention the amusing
mischief they practise in order to get attention and treats!) we couldn't
have found a better breed on earth.

I have been reading this list actively for about a year now (my mother
unfortunately doesn't read english that well) and have gathered some good
expertly tips, put down some mouthwatering recipies and enjoyed more than a
few good laughs - thanks for this list and all of you who regularly write to
it.

I was actually inspired by this list and founded a similar list in Finnish -
it is so nice to get the show results via email, and often on the day of the
show as well.
Such a marvelous thing this internet / email / discussion list, giving me
the opportunity to get to know this many cavalier-people all around the
world.

I'm already looking forward to spending the second year in your company!

sara
