So cavs are chow hounds? Are they also big eaters of non-food items?
(like labs, for example) My sussex wouldn't eat anything that wasn't
food. I remember him once having a small screw, like you would have
for your eye glasses, and when I asked him what he had, he spit it
out on the ground.

I really must confess, I came here waiting to hear why I *wouldn't*
want a cav. So far the only bad thing I've heard is concern about
health.

They sound lovely. I've only met one, and she was very nice. But
I don't think you can tell much about a breed by meeting ONE dog.
