OK - guess I need to go on the defense here.....wanted to just let things go after I addressed it this morning, but some aspects of Kelly's post about my email to her need addressing.
In no way, shape or form do I try and sell puppies by targeting people on the email lists. I have not written anyone else about this puppy except another person that ALREADY contacted me looking several weeks ago. My post to Kelly just happened to be a timing issue.........when I read her introduction to the list and saw she lived in NYC and was interested in acquiring a pet, I thought I would let her know I had a nice little girl that just became available due to the original buyer's change of mind. NYC is just across the Hudson River from me and I hope to place pets locally whenever possible. The puppy in question is sweet, but small and I'd like more substance. Not what I usually produce, but it was her mother's first litter and you never know for sure what you'll get....that's why I ran her on for 6 mos. The only thing I'm guilty of is not including more information about myself in my email to Kelly and I suppose, not including the barage of questions I would have for a prospective buyer. My reasoning for not doing so, at that time, was........if she was interested......we could discuss it later verbally! That's why I enclosed my phone number. Lordy.......What great sin have I committed????? Email lists are great for some things.......but boy can they blacken your eye in one punch! LOL i appreciate that newbies want to learn and not get sucked into buying from unethical people...........but when something like this is put on the internet a feeding frenzy and misconceptions abound!!!!!
