Dear List:
I checked and I am not an unknown or unnamed lurker. I do
lurk but I have posted some too. I wasn't sure that my name was
on the list since I had never seen a list of the members before.
But anyway. I am pretty sure that I introduced myself before but
since this is re-introduction here goes:
I live in Nashville, TN. Moved here in 1977, from Charlottesville,
Virginia. I have a husband and a 27 year old daughter. We have
eight wonderful Cavaliers. They are all spayed, all female and their
names are:
Jam Tart - 6 years old, Blenheim - grade V heart murmur and MVD
Gay Deceiver - 6 and 1/2 year old, Blenheim, no murmur
Rose - 6 year old, Ruby, no murmur (episodic falling)
Darjeeling - 5 and 1/2 Ruby, no murmur
Ice Bun - 6 year old tri-colour, no murmur
Marmalade - 5 and 1/2 year old tri-colour, no murmur, repaired patella
Crumpet - 5 and 1/2 year old Blenheim (litter mate to Marmalade) no murmur,
great patellas
and
Jade - 5 and 1/2 year old Black and Tan, no heart murmur. (sister to Salsa,
AKA "Sassy").
We love them all to bits. And I am a terrible Cavaholic. I have it bad.
I will buy almost anything that has a picture of a Cavalier on it. I read
every dog book
that the list even mentions. I own a veterinary Merck Manual and I study
everything
I can about the breed, including the history, health concerns, puppy
milling, use in
advertising, folklore, holistic, traditional anything to do with Cavaliers I
want to see it
read it and learn it. That's about all, I can say, I guess. We love them,
grooming them,
cuddling them and cleaning up after them. I hope I am never without one or
two or
more. Pamela Quisling, Nashville, TN
