Hi, Fran -- Glad that you "signed on" officially with a re-intro. We lived
in Rockland -- actually, my husband grew up in Blauvelt-- until we moved
upstate in 1990. I miss the beautiful Hudson Valley, family and friends
still in the County, but don't miss the traffic and hectic lifestyle. When
we lived there we had Goldens -- they were from John Lounsbury's "JOLLY"
kennel -- beautiful dogs that gave us beautiful puppies, many of which went
on to get things in the show ring. Our first Cavalier, Willowrun
Kai,(1989-1999) came from a breeder that was in northern Rockland. Oh,
besides the Hudson River, the proximity of NYC and the hills (it's VERY flat
here in WNY), I miss Rockland Bakery hard rolls -- miss them terribly! I'd
take one of those over a Krispey Kreme any day!
