Howdy everyone; As I think about finally heading to bed, I realize that the master suite is the only area in the house that gets hot in the summer. Some dumb architect designed four lovely windows FACING WEST that get a LOT of heat in the summer sun! Never mind that we have the advantage of cool air circulating, I still grumble that it's warmer up here. Then I start thinking about the smart critters that wave buh-bye when we head upstairs; they'd rather lie on the coolness of the hearth or tile floors. (Hmm, I might join them if it's hot again tomorrow.)
That rambling thought takes off on a new tangent when I think about how it's fun to take a dog or two in the car while running errands, but it's just not smart when the weather is this warm. At least here at home the dogs have the option of migrating to cooler locales. How many dogs (or children, ugg) do we see in parked vehicles in the summer months that can't get away from the rapidly increasing heat of a closed up car? Hence the reason that I created the webpage in which I have a smallish poster that anyone can copy and print, aptly titled "HotDogsPoster". I want to again offer the page for anyone wishing to make copies to keep in their car - hoping, of course, to never need to place it on a windshield because some yahoo has locked a dog in a car and cracked the windows a mere 1 cm after they've parked the car in the sun....
