Elaine I can relate to this. My son (now 38) was 7yrs old and starting a new school. The teacher asked him to tell alittle about himself and asked if he had any pets. Darren gladly informed the class that he had a dog and a bitch. That afternoon I received a phone call from the teacher she wanted to nip this kind of language in the bud. After a little chuckel I explained to her that I showed dogs and that the terms my son used were accepted terms in the dog world. I explained dog was male and bitch was female however I would talk to my son and hoped if he slipped agin she would understand. I never heard from her agin regarding a repeat of this incident so asume all went well.
