I use a holistic vet that does both chiropractic and acupunture. Acupuncture
is the choice for pain. It helps a lot. Chiropractic is only useful to
realign vertebra that have have slipped out of alignment. I also go to a
chiropractor/acupuncturist. She does both for me - align neck and back every
month and uses acupuncture to help my internal organs function properly.
Also good for pain when I throw my neck or back out. Either approach would
not require you to leave the dog alone. I would visit the recommended vets,
taking Chelsea with you and then decide who to work with. Herbs/diet changes
could also help her pain.
