Dear Jody, Believe it or not, this lady was luckier than others have been. Some of these puppies live for a year or more, and run up enormous vet bills, only to die a young death anyway. It's very sad. Sharon Gamboni Taron Cavaliers New Jersey

She and her family drove 5hrs. to the airport to pick up the puppy and the puppy was sick when they got there. Drove home thinking maybe the puppy was just stressed from the plane ride. The next day they took the puppy to the vet.,she had parvo. The vet. worked to help the pup but she died three days later. I asked the owner who she got the pup from and she said LMB farms and it was an Irish import. The owner contacted LMB and they told her that the puppy was vet. checked before she left there and she must of exposed the pup to parvo and it was her fault. We talked about dog brokers and I feel the lady is better educated now and may be able to help someone else that is thinking of makeing the same mistake in a search for a special puppy. I put her in touch with a reputable breeder and she did buy a new healthy puppy.
