My solution to digging is just to let them dig until they outgrow it! It is a "dog thing". I know this is not the answer for everyone. When I get a new puppy, holes start appearing in the yard, usually the same spot over and over, and suddenly one day you walk out and there are no more holes! Dogs love to dig, and all of mine still dig occasionally even in their old age. My husband did comment today that the back yard-with the dogs -looks much better than the front. His theory-dogs walking on grass must be a good thing. My response, if 4 dogs is good then more should be better!!! He didn't buy it!:)
