Judy, You have Newport and you DO have incredible views but you also have snow. More snow than me apparently....I'll visit Newport and Narragansett but give me a dry 100 degrees anyday! RI does rival CT in terms of ocean vs sound. We have tides and no water over 3" you have body surfing waves.
