In general, I have found that they are not naturals to the sport, as are Border Collies, but some have potential -- others would be hopeless, destined to be couch potatoes. Of our three agility dogs, each has called for a different training approach. I have found them to be much more of a training and handling challenge than are the more popular agility breeds.
There is a breeder in Connecticut, Anne Eckersley-Robins, who competes with several of her Cavaliers in agility trials in the Northeast.
