Hi Susan, That link will work. But it won't whenever the db is updated because each record number changes. There is a new way to provide a permanent direct link to any cavalier in the database. This is so useful for giving out in an email or listing it on your website! It's simple: replace the end of the URL's below with the dogs name all run together with no spaces and in lower case - no capital letters. Do not include titles. Use the following url for email or text links: http://www.cavaliersonline.com/cgi-bin/webped.pl?op=pedigree&gens=5&pattern=thedogsnamewithnospaces And use this one to insert into your html for web pages: <a href="http://www.cavaliersonline.com/cgi-bin/webped.pl?op=pedigree&gens=5&pattern=thedogsnamewithnospaces";> VIEW PEDIGREE</a> Here is a working example of Sorata Geraldine: http://www.cavaliersonline.com/cgi-bin/webped.pl?op=pedigree&gens=5&pattern=soratageraldine You can change gens= to however many generations you would like to show.
