I have just been over to Elsfleth-Moordorf, near Bremen,in Germany to judge Cavaliers at the Toy Dog show. The show held under FCI rules was held in the garden of a country inn and the Committee made us very welcome by decking the ring with Union Jacks!

There were 48 entered and the quality was good. A high percentage of UK affixes featured in the breeding of most of those placed. Namely Bonema, Choya, Sanickro, Korraines, Grantilley, Amantra, Miletree, Moorfields, Linjato, Myhope, Chantiz, Timsar, Pamedna. It was a good weekend and apart from the dogs the German Reisling and the Apfel Strudel were worth going for!
