I probably shouldn't be writing this, as I'm new and only a handful of you know my name. I only have one Cavalier, and have been deliberating for weeks now whether I should join the CKCS club. I have written and talked to breeders, some in the club, and some not in the club. I wanted to understand all the pros and cons, and make an objective decision on my own. I had my forms ready, my zillions of questions just about answered, thanks Kim, and yet here I am, still not a member.
I want to show and breed on a small scale. Take my time, research lines, and try to do the very best I can by the breed. I strongly believe in testing, my sweet girl just passed her eyes and heart! I'm learning slowly and I have to admit this club "stuff" is really confusing and overwhelming. I have heard the good and bad, but I guess for now, I just don't feel compelled to join. I am an open and flexible person...at least I try! So, I'm listening and reading carefully....but still very sad that there isn't just ONE club to benefit the breed...all working together.
