Kim,
I was so relieved to see this message tonight. Being relatively new to
the list and enjoying the truly unique and wonderful things that broaden
my knowledge and enlighten my love for Cavaliers, I waded faithfully
through the messages on Sunday. It was totally disheartening to watch
them become more full of innuendo and vitriolic clich�s as each message
enlarged on what they all thought was an educational issue. This
morning I finally highlighted all the messages from this list and blew
them away--unread. I was seriously contemplating unsubscribing.
Far from changing my mind or "educating me" it polarized the thoughts I
had before encountering said subject. None of the thoughts either
persuaded or dissuaded me. What they did do was put me on guard for
certain types of personalities, which I probably needed as I have a
tendency to think all Cavalier lovers were next to the angels and love
as the little dogs love, without malice or guile.
I guess it is neither fair or practical to put people on pedestals for I
know they will fall off as I have myself so many times. I still believe
there are more without guile or agenda who are reluctant to speak up for
what ever reason.

enlighten the lives of all Cavalier lovers.

Whew..........I just waded thru the 200 or so posts that came thru my
computer today and I have to say that I am enforcing the 15 post limit.
Anyone that has gone over 15 posts today has been put on review. I am
sorry to have to do this, but judging by my personal email, as usual,
people are overwhelmed by the "few" who have so much to say.
Please........try to take a breath and think a bit before hitting the
reply button. So much of what is being said is just being repeated over
and over and I know that like myself, many of our list members lead busy
lives and are overwhelmed by the amount of mail that is being generated.
In the past when this happened, Cindy and I would change the reply
function to send the reply to the poster and not to the list.....which
is a royal pain, but if I have to keep putting people on review, then I
will go back to that way of replying to a post.
Sorry to be the heavy........but someone has too...<VBG>. Go out and
enjoy the little bit of summer and sunshine that is left tomorrow :))
