In reading the minutes of the Bulletin it mentioned several times in
regard to accepting AKC-only dogs that their lawyer emphasized "the Club
can make its own rules, but the rules must be applied equally across the
membership." I was wondering if someone could explain what this means?
To me, it says that you cannot require AKC-only dogs to be health tested
if you don't require the same of CKCSC dogs. Or I am intrpreting it wrong?

And, as a pet owner, No one has surveyed me to find I would vote for AKC
acceptance, and for allowing only breeders to vote on breeding
decisions. I don't want to get a dog from a breeder who tests, I want a
dog from a breeder who knows how to best utilize the test information
along with all the other information available so they are able to do
everything possible to produce a healthy, temperment & structurally
sound dog that looks like a Cavalier should. And you can't mandate that....
