        A lawsuit should be the absolute last resort in most situations, and
usually means that one party's lawyer or the other has not properly done his
or her job.  There are very rare times when an action must proceed; they are
most unusual.
        I'm not proud to be affiliated with my profession when I hear of
these situations.
