Mine also looked like it had been deliberately slit!!!! Maybe they were looking for

My Bulletin arrived intact, but the envelope had been opened--slit right
across the top. The Bulletin could have easily slid out. I sent someone a
small gift in an envelope last week, and it arrived with my note, but the
envelope had been opened and the gift was gone. I wonder if the post office
is randomly opening envelopes??
