Renee - Although I'm not a fan of this new Heartworm medication and also not a fan of giving two medications at the same time (heartworm & rabies), this all might be a coincidence. Puppies can go through a "fear period" at about 8 weeks old and things that wouldn't normally bother them do now, like the car, the vacuum, etc. Reference "How To Raise A Puppy You Can Live With" by Rutherford & Neil, pps. 25-26. A lot can happen during this time and there are different ways to work through them. I love this book and recommend it often. Maybe it will help these people.
