Patricia, if you learn the techniques for collecting in your own home, you can be successful with even the most reticent dog. He will be much more likely to work well with you versus a vet or a vet tech that he doesn't know. Every boy will require a different "setting" or a different "technique" but they will be happiest with a teaser bitch who is ready, and mom doing the collection. I know, I know, this isn't exactly what we envisioned having to do with our boys, but I tell myself it's all part of the breeding biz. And all I can say is Thank Heaven for the boys who are easy collectors. Myra
