Hi list, My will-be-11-years-old-in-6-weeks boxer has been on 30 mg. CoQ10 5 days a week since she was diagnosed with minor MVD at 7 years old. A few months ago, she was having problems with inflamed gums. My holistic vet told me to give the 30 mg 2x day 7 days a week. In 3 weeks her gums were normal with no inflamation. Her MVD has not worsened since initial diagnosis. Don't know whether the CoQ10 has helped with the heart issue, but I sure know it helped with the gums!
