Well, hopefully we'll never have another one. In many phone calls, I
discovered that the dam's litter sister has had two rough coats. We spayed
our girl. I knew he was "fragile" more or less, but he was so attracted to
children and truly needed his own family with kids to drag him around and
play with him. His favorite activity is swinging in the swing with their 5
year old, and playing in the sand box. Before the family took him home,
they were here three times to visit and we all discussed that his life span
might possibly be shorter because of his little situation. The kids seem to
understand it and they wanted him so badly. As his adult hair grows in, it
seems less curly and more fuzzy....exactly as someone described it to me one
time. He looks like he stuck his little paw in a light socket. He was
amazingly easy to housebreak and is very, very bright and intelligent. I
wish I could keep his temperament for every dog in the world. Cyclosporine
has helped his dry eye and he is growing. I would love to see a picture of
your girl, Charlotte. Myra
