If you have your vet write a letter to your Dept of Animal Regulations, or
whoever issues dog licenses, that a rabies shot would jeoparize the health
of your dog, the requirement may be waived. My vet did this for my 10-1/2
year old boxer and the City of Los Angeles renewed her license without the
rabies booster. To be on the safe side I would get a titer vaccine test on
her.
