At times people are pulled from other duties and kept on longer than their shift to ring steward. I have been a ring steward and I can say I, like Robin, had a great time. I will volunteer next year for stewarding and think anyone who is interested in showing dogs should join their local club and help put a show together. You learn a lot and have good food and meet other similar minded people to have fun with.
