Yes, it is alarming........."kennel blindness" definately exists with some breeders.

It was from a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) email list in California. If this is true, this is alarming. It was dated Aug 27, 2002: >>I had to comment that recently (in the last year) I have seen MANY Cavalier's whose temperaments are uneven and are showing signs of aggression towards children and others in their homes. A lot of guarding behaviors and irritability. Biting, snapping, etc. At first I thought it was a fluke, but I've seen so many now that I almost expect it when someone calls with a Cavalier and am beginning to wonder if there is someone breeding this characteristic. I'm in Southern California and many of them are in the Newport Beach, Irvine area. Is anyone familiar with those who are breeding? << Laura Stebbins Winbury Cavaliers, Okemos, MIchigan ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
