Oh, I have one better than that, Michael...yesterday I was at the vet's office with my Newfie and got to talking to a kindly old gentleman with a pale gold, mid-sized dog. He informed me that it was a cocker-golden cross, and that they had "just been admitted for registration to the AKC." I didn't even ask what he paid for the dog or what scoundrel told him that. Sometimes you just wonder if you'll ever win the war.
