Leanne's post was very informative (per usual :). My typical focus on a problem is first related to primary sources rather than the secondary. I see the actual "stain" as a secondary problem and if the primary is not addressed, or able to be addressed, then the secondary will continue to be a problem and will require various degrees of grooming techniques. Grooming techniques would be preferable, IMO, to any type of drug therapy.
