The strange email is a virus. Do not open the files. I did not open the files but tried reply to sender. When I did that my server picked up the virus. I had already run a virus scan and it had not picked it up even though I have updated my virus scan program just this a.m. Obviously it is coming with a variety of subject headings. The virus detector said this about the message: Report: Shortcuts to MS-Dos programs are very dangerous in email in kennel,.pif
