Delta checked my health certificate, also, the last time I flew. Karen Matters

Also, they have more room in coach that other carriers(don't have enough fly-miles yet to upgrade to first class), I have found this to be very helpful. I am concerned that they are having economic difficulties, though(I've also heard Delta and some others are in similar circumstances, but haven't seen official confirmation of it). One of the few that is financially secure is Southwest, but, of course, they don't allow dogs! What a shame! Heads up for those who fly with their dogs - the last time I flew, Delta actually checked my health certificate (which I always get anyway, but now will be even more certain to get!!! Best to have it anyway just in case they check, they could deny your dog otherwise. The cost was $80 each way. I tried making a reservation on Northwest Airlines, but they would not confirm that I could bring Teddy on board until AFTER I purchased the ticket. So, American consistently gets my dog-flying business.
